Falmouth University
For more than 120 years Falmouth University has been steering the course of the creative industries, and beyond. Students are challenged to think differently and build professional skills that connect them directly with industry, across course areas including fine art, drawing, graphic design, advertising, architecture, illustration, photography, fashion, filmmaking, animation, game development, business, tourism management and computer sciences.
Falmouth is spread across two campuses in Cornwall, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Falmouth Campus sits among subtropical gardens with industry-standard creative facilities, while the Penryn Campus hosts most academic departments alongside the Sports Centre, The Stannary and the Sustainability Cafe. The university describes its campuses as among the safest and most beautiful settings of any UK university.
Falmouth shares its Students' Union with the University of Exeter, giving access to more than 120 societies and sports clubs, from surf and sea swimming to football and gaming. NCUK students are guaranteed an individual room in on-campus accommodation at Glasney Student Village, which houses more than 1,500 students from Falmouth and Exeter on the Penryn campus, in flats of 6 to 9 students with fitted kitchens and communal areas.
