Student life and support
The university’s international community spans more than 126 countries, supported by a Students’ Union for activities and independent advice, an international buddy scheme, and a #LiveProspectus of student-led video content. Social events include quizzes, yoga, a breakfast club and afternoon tea, alongside cultural events such as Ramadan & Eid, Holi, Diwali, Passover, Lunar New Year, Black History Month and Italian Republic Day.
International students get pre-departure webinars from Campus Hub teams, practical help with banking, healthcare and housing, a free and impartial International Student Advice team for visa and immigration queries, and Wellbeing Advisors with access to professional counselling at every campus.
Careers
An Employability Service operates across all locations, including before a course begins, covering career planning, applications, CVs, interviews and experience-building. Its postgraduate Employment Promise states that if an eligible graduate has no job within nine months of completing their course, they may receive 100% of their fees back: 50% as cashback and 50% as credit towards another course, subject to terms and conditions.
Accommodation and facilities
Studentpad, the university’s accommodation search platform, covers private halls, shared houses, flats and lodgings, alongside housing-rights information, property alerts and support from the Accommodation Team; campus-specific accommodation partners in major cities also offer a limited number of places, typically available after an offer is accepted.
Campuses offer modern learning spaces with quiet study areas and collaborative zones, interactive teaching rooms, and specialist environments for skills such as advocacy, interviewing, negotiation and problem-solving, supported by on-site Campus Hub teams.
Sustainability
The University of Law has published a sustainability plan built around four commitments and eight targets, including embedding sustainability values and literacy in all student education, a dedicated sustainability and law course, a 'Great Place to Work' certification, supplier sustainability charters, a validated net zero target across scopes 1–3, full ESG reporting and ISO 14001 accreditation.

Veritas Pathways students on the International Foundation Year may progress to The University of Law, subject to meeting its academic, English language, attendance and non-academic entry requirements.
