About The University of Newcastle, Australia

The University of Newcastle is on Australia's east coast, known for research-driven courses, modern facilities and a supportive student community. It is spread across the Callaghan campus (140 hectares of countryside with restaurants, bars and an extensive, contemporary sports complex), the Newcastle City Campus in the Central Business District, about a 20-minute bus ride from Callaghan, and the Ourimbah campus.

It accepts students through NCUK's International Foundation Year and Master's Preparation routes, and student life is supported by over 100 registered clubs and societies and year-round events, with nearby beaches supporting outdoor activities.

Newcastle itself is a coastal city with beaches, an arts scene and café culture (from surfing at Merewether Beach to the Newcastle Art Gallery and the Bathers Way coastal walk) and hosts cultural and music festivals throughout the year.
