International Undergraduate Scholarship
£2,500 per year of study, awarded automatically to eligible international fee-paying undergraduates starting in September 2026 who accept their offer by 4pm UK time on 3 June 2026 (Medicine and Dentistry excluded).
International Postgraduate Scholarship
£3,000, awarded automatically to eligible international fee-paying postgraduates starting in September 2026 who accept their offer by 4pm UK time on 7 July 2026 (PGDip and PGCert courses excluded).
Student life and support
The Students' Union supports over 350 clubs and societies, while Sports Sheffield oversees university teams and runs the "Give It a Go" scheme for pay-and-play sampling of activities. The Sheffield Volunteering scheme lets students work with local schools and charities.
Support services include the University Health Service, the 301 Academic Skills Centre, the International Student Support, Advice and Compliance team for visas and cultural adjustment, and the Student Wellbeing Service, which has Wellbeing Advisors in every faculty.
Careers
The Careers Service offers guidance, work experience opportunities and employer events, and the Enterprise Zone supports students interested in entrepreneurship.

Endcliffe Village and Ranmoor Village, both in leafy suburbs, offer a mix of en-suite and standard rooms.

The Diamond houses engineering labs and creative media facilities, while The Wave provides teaching spaces and is described as the university's most sustainable building. The Information Commons library offers more than 1,000 study spaces and over 120,000 volumes, and the Goodwin Sports Centre supports university sport.
